What are they?
We are committed to filling ordinary life with Gospel intentionality, pastoring one another with the gospel and sharing theGospel with unbelievers. We challenge one another to be sacrificial, servant-hearted, risk-taking and flexible because the gospel has priority over our comfort, preferences, security and traditions. We will not let Christian activity be just one part of our lives.
This cannot be done through weekly meetings solely and in order to be intentional with the Gospel, the gathered church (the Sunday meeting) is made up of Gospel Communities, who care, love, support, encourage and challenge each other through spending time in God’s word, praying, eating, socializing with friends both Christian and non-Christian and “doing life together” throughout the week.
The gathered church on a Sunday is the coming together of Gospel people who have been living for Christ as individuals on mission in community with other Christians. The Sunday service gives us opportunity to worship, hear God’s Word and encourage each other all together as the gathered church. Being part of a Gospel community gives us the opportunity to live out the values of Ramilies Road Church
